Why is Roger not BG

Hello seniors, I am here to ask why Roger was demoted to ABG when Rabies was removed as SG, As far as everyone is aware he was doing well but he was removed due to "being promoted too fast" yet there are no rules about how long till they are promoted.

Myself and many others feel like it was very unjust to demote him back to ABG and let someone else lead at the moment who is not in the general team, I am not saying Toe is a bad pick however it would be better to have Toe help him out when he is BG so he can start getting other people to BG as well and help strengthen the generals team rather than what's happened now where you have removed the highest rank and demoting the next highest and having 3 ABGs to run gens team under the help of an old BG, Should let roger run for it for a bit if he does then help.

I would like to say I was forced to write this by roger. But in all seriousness it was a pointless demotion with 0 reason to it

You can still remove him for being racist to avoid having to promote him back up!
 
I fully think Roger shouldn't have been demoted.
I also think RSB should really push for people to be given chances in roles for example just give the next guy Yoda etc. don't come in as like an overseer.
Also give freedom back to regiments remove these shitty timed promos and quals and quotas and "senior approval needed" type shit its wank.

i will add to this as he was deployed shortly before this happened. Hot take but Roger was the best General to deploy to 212th in the 500 odd days ive been there. The fact he wass demoted was quite frankly absolute "bullshit" ill also go as far to say that hes probably one of the best generals we've had since i joined the server. He should've stayed BG and be ready rn for a promotion to SG. The whole "Promoted to fast" would maybe be valid if he had no idea what he was doing and needed more time to learn. Shock horror, he doesnt. He is by far the most helpful General i've spoken too and if i have any issues he is the first person i go to because i know he will deal with it and come to an arrangement that all parties involved will be happy with.

TLDR: Promote this man back to BG because your reasoning for demoting him was BS. As much as some disagree with him/dont like him he is the General we need next for SG. Simple as.

People on Multiverse-Gaming now have to wait approx. 62 days to get promoted to a decent rank because...

because uh...

Oh because we need to make sure they can do their role..

even if.. demotions.. exist.. and feedback is a thing... and magna carta exists... and uh...

Personally, I am not aware of all the information that RSB had at their disposal but what is clear to me from playing the game and talking to multiple people about the situation is that it was a mistake to demote Roger. Everyone makes mistakes we are human guys it's fine but if you can't own up to your mistakes and rectify it then you lose all respect that people have for you and in such the decisions you make going forward people will always question. I would respect you guys a lot more if you just owned up to it said my bad and did the right thing as I'm sure you guys are well aware of the amount of time and effort all of us players put into the game as you have done the same in the past.

Leads on to exactly what they should've done...Ask all the CO's their thoughts but they didnt and if they had done they wouldve seen that all of us had no problem with him staying BG and leading the Gens team. Too add onto that, he's leading the gens team now from what i see so the fact he was demoted was irrelevant and not neccessary

Extremely true.

Also would be nice for said person to not be demoted by three people who but don't play the server or aren't at least playing in main roles (Painite plays Bounty Hunter too be fair and is active). Server needs a Grand Admiral asap.

GA isnt needed. Common sense and information about the situation from people who play the server would probably been the only thing they needed to make an informed decision, If they had just asked they could've found out that demotion was the wrong way to go.

I'm agreeing with you pal...

I'm just saying, on a server where the Grand Admiral's job is to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen, maybe its worth there being a Grand Admiral (we have two extremely capable Admiral's at the moment) and that would take away from the hate senior's get for logging on once a month just to cause some sort of drama dealing with IC issues they shouldn't have a single say in :eek:

Kinda glad someone made a post on this, Roger didn't get magna carta'd and clearly his demotion wasn't performance related. This server has a strange obsession with ensuring x amount of time has passed before someone gets a rank they already deserve.

Leventis would have never stood for this... 👺

Of course, I get you agree, but this isnt about Admirals or fleet at all. This is about the fact roger never desevered the demotion and infact deserved to keep his rank and that the server seniors need to make a decision on this.

I am just saying on a SEPARATE note, a senior would not have to interfere if there was an overall leading person like there has been for the 8 years which is called Grand Admiral.

yeah idk why roger got demoted, from serving under him in CG, he did amazing there which was a whole reason i went im ngl. and from the interactions ive had with him on the server when he was BG, everyone agrees that he is doing a good job! i thought it was a joke when people said he got demoted. being promoted too quickly is a dumb reason to demote someone doing great, ive seen how he has been doing since im fleet and hes deployed in CG and i can safely say this guy does not deserve a demotion!!!!!!!!

GA's Job isn't overall leading, they run fleet and are equal to the SG to which the SG has far more actual power over most of the player base. (In all fairness though they should make Toe GA already 🙂 )
