Server Balance / Fun on the Server

remove SG or remove its GA equiv, remove 15 minute breach/push or hostage rescue setups, have more than one planetary where we can rather than the guaranteed base attack event which happens twice a day (mostly anyways), more planetary patrols, less regiment targeted hostility, turn medics back into a mini regiment, let people do their roles (i.e. sentinels hacking), simplify the server where it can be i.e. too much in load outs, medals, regiment models.

But Smooley 4pm base attack is paramount for the regiments and their quals!!! Bring back Piradon events..

I haven't played in a long while now but it seems breaches still haven't changed 🧐. I can't remember breaches being that much of a fuck on back in the day. You're going into a building with some NPC's and maybe a couple EE's. Not the Iranian embassy siege. People screaming and shouting at eachother as well man, fuck off and get your mother to make you some weetabix

As the years have gone on it seems the server has become more shit (opposite of progression). The server peaked at 2020 and from there it's been pap/seems like pap. The server was actually fun back then. I'm not sure what happened, not sure if it was decisions made by management or just playerbase in general

Said this many times but all people are fussed about is getting the best loadout they're allowed so they can dominate and clap EE's easier

I’ve been saying this for yonks but breaches are utilised wrong. They are used to delay events and that’s it. They should be used more for side objectives and things that don’t affect the story as much. Scale them down and make it so GM can comfortably do them solo rather than making them a road block. For example on coruscant under world have them breach lots of the side buildings to find hostages or wounded. Yes it’s not combat or pvp but WP can then carry them to a safe zone and have CG secure that instead of LZ allowing for a different place for EEs to attack. The main story wouldn’t be affected by this so it doesn’t matter if they’re not found at the end of the day.

Regimentsl equipment and medical checkups are a thing of the past. No one turns up to them as they need to focus on their quota farm rather than taking time to do something different and roleplay.

Passive roleplay is frowned upon and not really done because people are busy doing trainings and don’t want to get involved.

I don’t like the event timetable of ship/base into planetary into ship/base. I purposely used to do the planet first and ship/base second to throw people and they seemed to appreciate it at least half the time.

We no longer deploy on planets after events or just early in the day. This used to allow players to do different trainings on the map and setup their own passives.

Basically the servers a quota farm full of dead trainings

I’m currently working on some new stuff to replace existing /rp things that are boring which will hopefully bring more fun and involving role play to engineers and navy.
