Suggestion:
Event team post their events on the forums rather then discord

Reason for Suggestions:

• Easier to track an event team members event using their SteamID to search it on the forums
• Community can provide feedback on the forums which can be used to see if your event team members events need improving or if they can be promoted based on the quality & quantity of their events
• Easier to log who may of helped with the events
• Another way to encourage the MVG Community to use the forums
• It is harder to track who hosted an event on the discord and with the forums you can not get lost.

Just to be clear there is a whole Spreadsheet we have that says who did what event and after an event vote we all put the result of the vote on that spreadsheet so all staff and event team can see how good/bad the event was.

So long as you participate in the votes we do after events and provide feedback in the given discord channel then we will get the feedback we need to improve.

why cant the other members of the community have access to the spreadsheet?

Sometimes we got no idea who hosted events.

You are able to always mention the time that the event took place and that just helps us understand who actually hosted it as we know from the spreadsheet who took what slot. So feel free to refer to the events by their schedule. So in the end the events are neither on discord nor forums but just a google spreadsheet.

90% of the time, the Host and assisters of the event are mentioned in the Event Vote along with event ping in the discords, reason the spreadsheet isn't shared is that it has quite a bit of information that the public doesn't need to know

Event details can be found in the Event Alert section of the Discord, this givens many advantages over the forums as it allows for a ping to go out and for our reg discords to link and get the event alerts sent into their discords. If you want to submit some event feedback and are not sure who hosted the last event you can ask in the discord/in-game (or in here) and someone will happily let you know.​
