Change Rank Equivalencies for the DSGTs.

Suggestion:

Change the rank equivalencies of DSGTs
Old(JDSGT=SSG) - New(JDSGT=SSG)
Old(DSGT=SSG) - New (DSGT=SSG)
Old(MDSGT=SSG) - New (MDSGT=2nd LT)
Old(SDSGT=CPT) - New (SDSGT=CPT)

Reason:

This suggestion has been discussed with the Generals Team, the new rank equivalency for the MDSGT to be upped from SSG to 2nd LT is because MDSGTs act as LTs within DSGTs and are able to host qualifications for JDSGTs + act like XOs to the SDSGT you could say. In my opinion it is only fair given what the role duties are.

icl the only guy who should have a rank equivalent is SDSGT, if you can give me a reason why a MDSGT should be same rank as a 2nd LT who leads a reg hosts trainings then ill change my mind but till then DSGTs train hand full of CTs and lead a hand full they dont need 2nd LT perms its unneeded.

You dont even need rank equivalencies, your only job is to get CTs into other regiments, at most you should just get a LT job

Reason I made it so SDGT only has rank equivalences is because nobody else needs them, you are in charge of CTs, (They dont even have a rank), so why do you need anything above SSG? - SDSGT has CPT as it takes time and effort to get to it, aswell as dealing with all the special CTs.

This is just a powergrab.

It is explained in the suggestion, I could on the other hand ask why an SSG should be able to do quals for people, but I ain't here for beef.
MDSGTs will have an actual quota unlike the JDSGT and DSGT ensuring they are doing what the role is supposed to, host these trainings and doing the JDSGTs qual if any need them.

The rank equivalencies are nothing but a token of appreciation you could say, you have to work hard to even get MDSGT let alone SDSGT.

I personally don't understand how is this a powergrab as MDSGTs cannot transfer to a regiment, other than that, pretty much the same reply as to Matty.

Forgot to say: The rank equivalency change is supposed to awaken the interest in actually playing DSGTs, because if you apply for DSGT at SSG, then get to 2nd LT in a regiment for example and reach MDSGT as well, why would you want to go to a side job that essentially sets you back to SSG. I personally wouldn't do it. I know that I won't change some of your opinions as I know some of you just chronically hate CT/DSGT, but I don't even have the intention to try.

not gonna lie this just seems pointless, does it actually change anything? whether or not youve got those rank equivalences you're still gonna be able to do everything you need to do, seems just like a pride thing to me. no point

If you're very active as DSGT you can reach MDSGT after 20 days minimum, usually is about 25 days if not 30.

What they gonna walk around getting people to salute them or like the need for 2nd LT equivalent is purely out of no where. Cause icl DSGT's already get officer levels perms when it comes to claiming rooms and etc. but the thing that is very confusing is that there is no real reason for this except it being a reward which is a bad reason since Regimental Officers actually have to do stuff including regiments and finally get permissions to host trainings unsupervised and lead events.

Seeing this I have to ask you what do you think the DSGTs do/can do? Because DSGTs can for example be taken as a nice preparation for LT in a regiment alongside the SGT reg quals. We lead events just like reg LTs do, we can host training just like reg LTs can, we have quals just like reg SGTs have.
Realistically I should have been asking for the DSGT to be 2nd LT and MDSGT 1st LT as the job permissions/duties are pretty much the same, but I understand that there isnt much to the DSGT apart from being independent unlike a JDSGT so I didn't go for it.

Anyways this suggestion is just a formality so it's official, the idea I had originally has been counter-offered by the generals team at which we agreed which resulted in this. No point arguing about this further.

No to put it bluntly.

Being a regimental LT sure has a lot of the basics down but doesn't really provide all too much. Every regiment will look for different things that definitely are not just the basics when picking an LT. Saying as a blanket statement it is nice for all regiments isn't true.

DSGTs are important don't get me wrong but you really don't need rank equivalents to regiments until SDSGT and even then that one doesn't need it.
