ArcCW V2 Details​

Since the release of ArcCW we have been hinting/teasing an the ArcCW V2 update, which would bring more server performance, and continue to improve on the new weapon base (ArcCW). There have been alot of rumours going around about the release and details of this update, so this announcement will go though what will and won't be included in ArcCW V2.

The main change with ArcCW V2 is a move away from weapon rendering (when one weapon model is put ontop of another, like in TFA), replacing it with proper weapon view and world models. This change is not going to be applied to all weapons, at this time the only weapons being moved to this new system are the core Republic Weapons (DC15, DC-17, etc). The Special-Forces (RC), Galactic and CIS weapons are staying on the rendering system for the time being.

ArcCW V2 should also bring some other minor improvements/changes to the V2 guns like improved (and hopefully quieter) sounds, and reload animations in some cases (teaser coming soon™).

Another part of the ArcCW V2 update is a full weapons rebalance. With the move to ArcCW taking many TFA stats 1:1, it has caused there so be a slight misbalance between regiments/guns. This was expected however not quite to the scale that we have noticed. This rebalance will be taking all of the weapons back down to a reasonable and balanced level.
This rebalance will possible make your regiments gun "worse", but the idea is that all of the other regiments will also have their weapons becoming proportionally "worse" to yours, so everyone is more balanced at a lower level.

This update will come with a slight increase in Weapons file size (from the actual weapon models) in exchange for better server performance (less weapons for the server to render).

Finally there is NOT an ETA on when this update will come out currently, however stay tuned for updates
