Suggestion: Adding new Jedi General for ARC

Reason: With there being numerous general positions available for different regiments and a specialization for medics, I believe it would be a great addition to allow individuals to become the ARC Jedi General. This role would complement ARC Command's roaming abilities, enabling them to assist where needed. Considering the challenging nature of joining ARC, we propose implementing an OOC tryout for individuals interested in becoming an ARC Jedi General, aligning with the rigorous selection process characteristic of ARC.

The lore character we envision for the ARC General role is Rahm Kota as we believe he would be a great fit and overall aesthetic would work well with ARC (and theres no other good models). We are considering the introduction of a unique ability for the Jedi General, such as "Force Blind" (if allowed), to align with ARC Command's equipment. Alternatively, we could provide access to the Concussion Rocket used by ARC Command. And obviously if both Force Blind nor Concussion Rocket aren’t allowed they could be a basic General with no beneficial abilities.

This suggestion has been put together with myself and ARC command working together after Lad came to me wishing to start this process of getting a Jedi General for them, and now Boomer and Tom continuing this process and still very much expressing their want for this to happen.

Got two issues with it and if those were resolved in a reply to quell my worries would be great!

Issue I see is that the whole point of ARC is that its the best of the best clones, this means their trainings and events are very focused on the "FPS" aspect of the server, during down time from events you wouldn't be doing much with the ARC as their trainings are normally behind closed doors, focused on PVP and trying to hit a clone with a lightsaber can sometimes be near impossible.

During events ARC are normally with their reg's so there would be no main focus for the ARC Jedi to help out on, if ARC was more its own spec away from reg's that would make sense but but alas it's not.

From a gameplay aspect I'd see it being very boring and pointless and just a reason to shove ARC on the name of a Jedi and would just be annoying for both parties.

I don't speak for ARC (Nor have I ever been ARC (Skill issue)) however I don't want people to put too much effort on a role that won't add much as we've had that way too often.

I can understand your point but i would lie if i say most of generals dont really stick with there regiments during events and rarely in trainings i can say that as when i was 501st you know well Kojima that it was rare to see Skywalker or Ahsoka if we had one. Same with events alr with 501st it was good to have jedi gen being our shield but like WP, GC, CG i would say even RC or CD dont really thing gen would be really useful for any of these ( ofc in some sitations yes but mostly i dont think thats the case)

RM has Jedi Gen and i saw like 3 and again rarely joined trainings and during events was more useful as shield then healer.

I personally just dont think another gen is needed overall rarely saw some of generals like CG or CD one or even GC but can understand why they want one.

Well with the thought of ARC Jedi Generals, they would be able to unlock the ability to actually host some trainings themselves. Obviously they wouldn't be able to do PVP but the other trainings are very much so doable. It will really depend on who actually will want to become the Jedi General for ARC and obviously they would be tested to ensure they could hold these type of trainings, since icl most of out training and repeated over and over and advice from 1 training is carried over to the other.

And yes, ARC is a spec and not a proper regiment. ARC Troopers and Alpha's would not be roaming with ARC Command or anything, it would simply at best be a squad of 3 supporting where needed being able to adjust to all situations. And when there is a spec-ops during and event they would be able to work together and accomplish the goal together.

In the end, their permissions will be altered same way any Jedi Generals permissions are altered within their regiment overtime.

In the end, it is another option for people that do wanna follow that path meaning it is entirely optional.

If there is any more questions, or anything that might be confusing feel free to ask.

Personally I don't really see the point, if you want to do trainings you can always do a ARC/Jedi cross reg to learn how to beat sith but with their equipment being very different, how you going to have a Jedi train people to use a weapon or grapple hooks strats when they just use force abilities?

For me it just seems unneeded and from a spec role you've already got ARC Alpha's for trainings as well as you two seniors and in events Gens get priority on sith so when there's one on the battlefield the gen would leave anyway, its like fleet having the ability to deploy in gens, could maybe help in relationship wise but just makes no impact as the Fleet cant do what the Gens can do and vice versa (Really outlandish example but feels like a close equivalent xD)

Saying this Medic's also have a Jedi Gen and ARC is the only one left out so to makes sense, I'm not fully against it, just as Keller said "Bit pointless innit?"

kinda cool idea but I feel like only shaak-ti should go with them really, even if in lore her regiment is the kamino garrison or whatever
