If the structure and promotion structure is the same when I ran it, it takes a while to get to the CO equivalent level. That's if promotions aren't just given out willy nilly or to fill a slot.

But looking at the people with ranks in Fleet atm, I see your point
 
Tbh having rank equivalency and being one is two different things, as a Fleet Commander you do not have any wear near the same impact and actual power as a real commander even as you make it up to admiral you impact is somewhat minimal. You just get to voice your opinion more freely.

I have openly said my opinion on certain fleet members to my own fault but I know that the future of fleet is bright so long as mistakes with who they promote are not made.

its a game and most of the current fleet joined before the rank requirement to join was lowered, 50 days for a virtual rank in a video game which isn't even too high of a rank is fine

fleet are also in a great state at the minute I feel, there are only a few that have a bit of a lower activity but still do fine when on
 
vex got to CO on sunday being one of the highest performing in fleet, took him 119 days, not sure where 50 came from

Yeah theres alot of people but ive seen some shocking fleet members in decently high places recently
